Acupuncture can be more compatible with Western medicine theories of practice if it is viewed through the lens of structure, specifically as a way to modulate the myofascial system. Participants will learn about the structure of fascia and myofascial meridians. Structure-based medical acupuncture is rooted in anatomy, with treatments formulated based on physical examination, and improvements in pain expected immediately. The session will include case presentations with panel discussion, and possibly a live demonstration.
