Recent data has shown that medical students are more likely to pursue training in PM&R if they have early exposure to the specialty, but many students do not have access to such opportunities. This session explores the landscape of college and medical student programs that provide early exposure to PM&R, highlights examples of successful mentoring and educational programs from the speakers’ own institutions, and provides an opportunity for participants to participate in interactive small group sessions to brainstorm and design strategies to expand opportunities for meaningful PM&R exposure for students in their own institutions.
