Kaitlin Ballenger is a second-year medical student at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, interested in pursuing a career in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After graduating Georgetown University, she pursued a National Institutes of Health Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Fellowship to further her interests in a research-oriented medical career. Kaitlin has an interest in finding innovative treatments for individuals experiencing neurological and musculoskeletal diseases. Outside of the classroom, Kaitlin enjoys running and will be completing her first half-marathon over the summer.
