Philippines Cabahug MD earned her B.S. in Physical Therapy at the University of the Philippines in 1994, and her Medical Degree at St. Luke’s-WHQ Memorial, Philippines in 2000. She completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at the Philippine General Hospital in 2005, during which she was awarded a UN scholarship for a Postgraduate Diploma in Gerontology and Geriatrics at the University of Malta in 2004. She completed her second PM&R residency in 2012 and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Medicine fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2013.
Dr. Cabahug practices at the International Center for Spinal Cord Injury at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of PM&R and is the Program Director of the SCIM Fellowship program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She instructs medical students, PM&R residents, and fellows in the fields of SCI and spasticity management.
