Dr. Jamie Key is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky. She is board certified in PM&R with a subspecialty certification in Brain Injury Medicine. She graduated medical school from Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her residency training in PM&R at the University of Kentucky. Upon residency graduation, she worked in private practice in the greater Cincinnati area before returning to the University of Kentucky where she currently serves as the Residency Program Director and the Fellowship Director of the new Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship. As she is passionate about improving the quality of life of patients with brain injuries, she is equally as passionate about resident education, wellness, and diversity, equity and inclusion as she serves as Chair of the UK PM&R Education, Wellness and DE&I Committees. Dr Key also serves as an ambassador for the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the UK College of Medicine and works to support diverse medical students and residents throughout their programs. She is a proud alumna of the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and a Volunteer fan to a flaw. While not at work, she is running circles around her two kids, Gus (6) and Sloane (4).
