Vu Nguyen, M.D., is Robert B. Kyle Endowed Professor and Chair of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Heersink School of Medicine. Nguyen specializes in neuro and stroke rehabilitation. He is a Director on the American Board of PM&R Board of Directors, a Reviewer on the ACGME PM&R Review Committee, and the North American Representative to the Executive Council of the International Society of PRM. He is a United States Air Force veteran, having served in the Medical Corps. Dr. Nguyen received his M.D. from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, MBA from East Carolina University, and BS from Drake University.
