Rebekah Harris received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked in various settings and roles within the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as a physical therapist during her time there. She earned her PhD in Epidemiology from the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh where she was a T-32 trainee on the Aging training grant. Becky currently works as a clinician scientist within the New England GRECC and is faculty at Harvard Medical School. Her work focuses on improving mobility, care, and quality of life for aging Veterans. She leads the clinical Live Long Walk Strong program and Gerofit programs and is an active team member on the research Live Long Walk Strong and the Rehabilitation Promoting Prevention and Improved Resilience (REPPAIR) in Veterans projects.
