Dr. Jason Edwards serves as the Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation and the Director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College as well as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Edwards provides comprehensive neurological rehabilitation and spasticity management for patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions. He takes an individualized approach to rehabilitation, assessing eeach person’s unique injury to then guide treatment choices to maximize function and quality of life.
Dr. Edwards completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/TIRR, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Brain Injury Medicine & Rehabilitation fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
