Cheryl B Benjamin, DO, MS is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. She has been practicing Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for over 13yrs at two level one trauma centers in Chicago, Illinois-Mt Sinai Hospital and the University of Chicago Medical Center providing rehabilitation consultation services including management of patients with major multiple trauma secondary to gunshot wounds/motor vehicle collisions etc, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, strokes, transplants etc. She also completes admissions at the Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital inpatient rehabilitation units and occasionally provides inpatient coverage of the various rehabilitation units there as well. Dr Benjamin is the Associate Program Director of the Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program. She is also an American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Examiner. In her free time she loves cooking with her four children.
