Jacki Johnson (She/Her) is the Program Administrator for the Internal Medicine Residency (IM) program at the University of Wisconsin (UW), and has been working in GME for 6 years. In this role, she oversees all aspects of the IM residency and leads a team of 4 coordinators and managers in the successful facilitation of the program.
Jacki is currently serving as the Chair of the UW GME Coordinator Advisory Council (CAC), and has previously served as the co-Chair. She is also a member of the Department of Medicine Education Committee, which aids in continuous improvement efforts for all GME trainees, faculty, staff, and programs within the Department of Medicine at UW.
Jacki holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Biology with minors in Chemistry and Human Development from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, and is currently in progress on a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
Continuous learning and improvement, women in education, and GME coordinator professional development are all special interests of Jacki’s. When she is not working or studying, Jacki loves traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and two senior cats.
