The importance of training medical students in caring for persons with physical disabilities is of utmost importance. PM&R departments are ideal for taking a leadership role in this type of education. This course will review the importance and need for such education, how a curriculum can be developed by PM&R to meet school requirements of disability education, and share different tools used to enhance disability education.
