Aurelia Nattiv, M.D. Brief Bio
Dr. Aurelia Nattiv is a Professor in the UCLA Division of Sports Medicine and Non-Operative Orthopaedics, Departments of Family Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery. She has served as the Director of the UCLA Metabolic Bone and Osteoporosis Center for over 20 years, and currently the UCLA Bone Health Practice. Dr. Nattiv is an Associate Team Physician for UCLA Athletics, and has been involved as a team physician and/or consultant with several National Governing Bodies, including USA Gymnastics and USA Track and Field, as well as the USOC. She is the Past President of the Female and Male Athlete Triad Coalition and has served on the Board of Directors of AMSSM for two terms, and ACSM, and is a Fellow of both AMSSM and ACSM. Dr. Nattiv’s research and publications are in the areas of prevention and management of bone stress injuries, bone health/osteoporosis and the Female and Male Athlete Triad.
