Irene Kalbian, BA is currently a fourth year medical student and aspiring physiatrist at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She received her BA from Columbia University in 2013. Prior to matriculating at SKMC she worked as a research coordinator in New York City, first at Rockefeller University investigating the neurogenetic basis of mosquito host-seeking behavior and then at the Hospital for Special Surgery with the HSS Patellofemoral Center. Her rehabilitation interests include traumatic brain injury, stroke, and women’s health.
