Assistant Professor, Associate Program Director Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship

Jennifer Russo, MD is currently serving as the Associate Program Director for the Brain Injury Medicine Fellowship at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. Dr. Russo obtained her undergraduate degree in Theater Performance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She went on to complete her post-baccalaureate premedical studies from Columbia University in 2010 and matriculated to Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2011 where she earned her medical doctorate. In 2020, she completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and in 2021, she served as Brain Injury Medicine Fellow at NYU Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation. She is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Mediicne. She is happy to be serving as Core Faculty for the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation residency program.
