Susan Li is a third-year medical student working with Dr. Neil A. Segal at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her research with Dr. Segal mainly focuses on examining the value of weight-bearing CT and its evolving role in assessing lower limb osteoarthritis. She received her BSA in Medicine, Health, and Society from Vanderbilt University in 2020. In addition to her research, she has served as president of the PM&R Student Interest Group for the last 2 years and was vice president of the Sports Medicine Student Interest Group and Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association: APAMSA. Last year, she presented at the International Workshop on Osteoarthritis Imaging (IWOAI) held in Lausanne, Switzerland and at the 2024 AAPM&R Annual Assembly. She is very passionate about the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is looking forward to learning more about the specialty and joining the PM&R community at Physiatry '24.
