Dr. McClellan is board certified in PM&R by the American Board of PM&R, and in Electrodiagnostic Medicine by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. McClellan is the Lab Director of University of Missouri PM&R Electrodiagnostics, the first electrodiagnostic laboratory to be accredited in the Mid-Missouri area. She is the director of the resident electrodiagnostics curriculum and co-director of the resident ultrasound curriculum at the University of Missouri Department of PM&R and has taught and mentored several physiatry residents who now perform electrodiagnostic studies and ultrasound. Dr. McClellan has mentored and taught several medical students and is the PM&R Student Interest Group advisor and the Lifestyle Medicine Student Interest Group advisor at the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Dr. McClellan was awarded the PM&R Department Teacher of the Year in 2020 for resident teaching, and the Pre-Clerkship Curriculum Innovation Award in 2022, for her electrodiagnostic and neuromuscular ultrasound workshops for first year medical students at the University of Missouri. She is the current Chair of the Lab Accreditation Committee for AANEM and is an active member in the State Liaison Committee for the AANEM, advocating for improved quality in electrodiagnostics on Capitol Hill with several United States Congressmen and their staffers. Her clinical and research interests include electrodiagnostic medicine, neuromuscular ultrasound, and lifestyle medicine.
