I am Maya Therattil, a dedicated physiatrist who trained at Montefiore Medical Center in PM&R, I further specialized in Spinal Cord Injury and Brain Injury at Kessler Institute for Rehab and hold board certifications in these areas. My present clinical practice has been providing inpatient and outpatient care at Princeton's Acute Rehabilitation unit and Lawrence Rehabilitation Hospital. While at Montefiore I served as associate program director and now have ongoing academic responsibilities at Drexel, as their Pathway Director for PM&R, I also have PMR clerkships for the students. Physiatry leadership at the national level, includs the Program for Academic Leadership, Program Committee, Education Comittee and presently Global Rehabilitation and Medical student Educators council. I have taught and worked in India helping to devlop Physiatry residency programs. Intrests also include Disability education and curriculum development at all levels. I also have a Masters in Medical Education Leadership. Presently Chair, of the PMR Department at Penn Medicine Princeton Health.
