Attending Physician, Acting Assistant Professor

Dr. Jamie Ott is an attending physician and Acting Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at University of Washington. She is interested in studying therapeutic interventions and environments that enhance biological and functional recovery after brain injury as well as improve quality of life for survivors. Her clinical and research interests are varied, and have included topics of delirium, spatial neglect, anxiety, sleep after TBI and stroke. She completed a Brain Injury Medicine fellowship at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago)/Northwestern University and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation/Rutgers University. Clinically, she cares for neurorehabilitaiton patients at Harborview Medical Center and trains UW PM&R residents. Outside of work she has enjoyed skiing with her family on the beautiful mountains of the Pacific Northwest and learning violin alongside her son.
