Karen Barr is an Associate Professor at University of Pittsburgh/UPMC. She has a long term interest in medical education and mentoring. She is a former member of the College Faculty and Residency Program Director at the University of Washington. Currently her mentoring efforts include creation and leadership of the UPMC PM&R Residency Medical Education Leadership track and the UPMC PM&R Faculty Peer Mentoring Program. Her clinical interests include Electrodiagnostics, prehabilitation of patients awating organ transplantation, and value based spine care.
