Nicholas J Averell, Bachelor of Science - Rowan University Class of 2017, OMS-4 Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine
Nicholas was inspired to become a physiatrist after working as medical scribe in physiatry for over 2 years. While in medical school, Nick has balanced both school and extracurricular's volunteering in both the school's vaccine and OMM clinics. Nick has become heavily involved in student-run research at Rowan, leading research teams for OMM and PM&R-related research before ultimately co-founding Futures Forward Research Insitute, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to mentoring and developing student-led research.
